Winnow sends the titles and snippets of your results to our server to score them. We don't store your searches. If you sign in we keep your Google email and billing ID; otherwise just daily usage counts.

How does it score results?
Winnow reads the title and snippet of each result and compares it against your preferences in plain language. Matches to what you prefer move up with a positive score; matches to what you avoid move down with a negative one.
Does it slow Google down?
Barely. Scoring happens as the page loads and the re-order is near-instant. If anything ever lags, Winnow shows Google’s original order until it catches up.
What happens when I hit the daily limit?
On the free plan you get 20 re-ranked searches a day. After that, Google works exactly as normal until the next day, or you can upgrade for unlimited searches.
How do I cancel?
Open the extension and cancel in one click. Your plan keeps working until the end of the billing period, then drops back to free.
Which browsers does it work on?
Winnow works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers like Edge, Brave and Arc. A Firefox version is on the way.
